International Women's Day: Empowering Women for a Brighter Future

Let's join forces to accelerate gender equality in our world. According to the World Economic Forum, at the current rate of progress, it will take until 2158—roughly five generations from now—to achieve full gender parity. We believe we can do better!

Together with our suppliers, we're taking important steps to support and empower women, contributing to a more balanced and equitable society. 

Most of the organisations we work with, just like ours, are women-led. We all strive for gender equity and women's economic empowerment. The majority of our producers are women, many from disadvantaged backgrounds. By providing fair wages, safe working conditions, and skills training, we help them achieve financial independence and improve their quality of life.

As we believe education is the key to empowerment, we support girls' education. In Nepal, many girls still face challenges in accessing education. When you purchase our paper products, you contribute to the "Send Your Daughter to School" campaign. This initiative helps girls from underprivileged families continue their education, building a brighter future for themselves and their communities. Additionally, all daughters of our paper producers receive support, such as school stationery and tutor fees. Together, we create opportunities for young girls, empowering them to break the cycle of poverty and achieve their dreams.
