Necklace | Serena

The old pendant on this necklace has been worn by Banjara women. The Banjara are the gypsies of India. The women always wear a lot of jewelry and colorful clothes. The pendant was worn with a pin in the hair at the height of the temple. The strands of glass beads are so-called 'white hearts'. These beads have a white core. Surrounded by a layer of red glass. This age-old technique creates fine color nuances. The strands come together in a wound closure with an old Indian coin.
