The orange glass beads in these necklaces are a modern version of beads worn by the Naga tribes from India. The Nagas live in an impenetrable area, which has allowed them to preserve their ancient culture to this day. They are famous for there colourful jewelry worn by both men and women. The wire wound end closes with a coin, an old Indian rupee.
The cross-shaped pendant is made of glass. The bronze pendant of the other necklace is inspired by an ancient image of the heart chakra.
The necklaces are made in family workshops in India.
