Copper amulet holder with a window. Behind the window a small clay statue and a piece of fabric from a Tibetan prayer flag is visible. The holder hangs from a leather cord. The amulet holder can be carefully opened at the back so that you can place your own amulet in it. The amulet holders were made by the Newar from the Buddhist Patan, a beautiful city south of Kathmandu, Nepal. The Newar are known as skilled artisans who have been contributing to Nepal's rich artistic heritage for centuries.
